Independent Horror Film Peelers to Have World Premiere!

March 9th, 2016 – Independent Horror Feature Film Peelers set to have world premiere at Palm Beach International Film Festival, Florida (April 6th – 14th).

The makers of the Independent Cult Horror Feature Skew (2011) step it up a bloody notch as they begin their festival run with their follow-up horror flick Peelers.

Peelers- What starts out as the last hurrah on the closing night of an infamous small-town strip club, quickly turns into a night of bloodshed when a crew of coal miners shows up and with them a deadly contaminant. Former baseball player and current club owner, Blue Jean Douglas has decided to hand over her bar to a new owner and leave town for good. But Blue Jean’s plans are thwarted when she discovers the magnitude of the epidemic that has been unleashed. With victims piling up, Blue Jean must step up to the plate to protect her family, her friends, and her bar before it's too late and she loses everything she holds dear.

Peelers destroys the cliché stripper horror sub-genre by giving us a story packed with exciting twists, baseball, strippers of unusual talents and a strong female lead. What’s being described as “Rodriguez meets Tarantino” and “Not just a great indie film, but destined to be one of the funnest films of 2016”, has Director/Producer Sevé Schelenz pretty stoked about giving genre fans a whole new ball game of horror.

Rhiana Howell to star in ‘Diemosimine’

Deimosimine is the upcoming film produced by Legless Corpses films and is currently holding a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds to help with production. Rhiana will portray Cindy Richards in the up-coming feature horror film ‘Deimosimine’. To be directed by Chad Armstrong with screenplay by Andrew Thompson.

WTF! Begins Production June 15th

Cthulhu Crush Productions is excited to announce principal photography is set to begin on Peter Herro's WTF! June 15th around Los Angeles. The horror film sees a survivor of a mass killing on a trip with six close friends, when her nightmare threatens to begin again.

Herro is directing from a script he co-wrote with Christopher Centanni and Adam Buchalter. Callie Ott (The Horror), Sarah Agor (Hatchet II, VH1's "Scream Queens"), Andrea Hunt, Ben Norris, Johnny James Fiore, Nick Reilly and Adam Foster will star.

Three years ago, twenty-two year old girl-next-door Rachel (Ott) barely survived a brutal massacre that left her friends in pieces. Time has passed, and Rachel has moved on, but unfortunately history has a way of repeating itself. Her close friends are spending spring break in a secluded house in the woods, and they have cordially invited her to join. Little does she realize that another bloodbath will be showing up as plus one. Once Rachel and her friends arrive at the cabin, the partying, sex, and terror begins.

From girls' only pillow fights to debauchery in the bedroom, it's going to be a blast...until the stabbing, flesh melting, and castration starts. Seven friends will go into a secluded house for the best spring break of their lives, but only one will be alive to post about it on Instagram the next week, as Rachel's biggest fears become a reality once again. Will Rachel survive another bloody massacre?

Directed by Chad Armstrong, Writer Andrew Thompson and Produced by Ray Scanlon, with makeup and creature FX by Ryan Nicholson (Gutterballs, Gutterballs 2, Collar, Dead Nude Girls). "We are taking our love of horror films, creature features, slasher films, and practical effects and enveloping them into this balls out, tour-de-force horror flick!" says the Director. He also states about the current indiegogo.com campaign, "we are making this film for the fans, I know you hear that a lot, but if you look at the prices of the perks, you certainly can see what we mean. It will take more contributions to make the film happen, but the fans are getting more for their dough".

ABOUT THE FILM

Cindy is a twenty-something girl who has had a rough life. She believes that her wealthy mother killed her father and got away with it. After years of running from this horrible past, she turned finally to heroin to cope with her painful memories.

In reality truly caring for her daughter but being emotionally unable to reach out to her child as she should, Cindy's mother uses her obscene wealth to find a way to get her daughter the treatment she feels she needs; a radical, experimental treatment: DEIMOSIMINE; a drug that causes an addict to experience powerfully negative emotional reactions to the drugs they crave. Theoretically, the patient will not want to go back to those dark places that the reaction of the DEIMOSIMINE creates in their minds, and thus stop using.

An unforeseen factor, however, causes Cindy to have a different reaction to the drug than is anticipated, and the results are a bloody and horrific journey into misunderstood madness.

Believing she's begun the road to recovery, Cindy will find herself enveloped in the subconscious horror that the drug creates in her psyche; a world of demons, evil, blood, and death. Despite her efforts and those of they who support her, she will find herself a slave to the drug, and the demented terrors of the world that it shows to her. The tragedy of a soul brought to such heinous destruction of the undeserving will be showcased as her perception brings bloody vengeance on the perceived threats to herself and society.

The film will consist of monsters, demons, on screen blood-baths, and crazy set pieces. This is surely going to be a fun film.

FX Providing the makeup and creature FX, is underground horror filmmaker and FX artist Ryan Nicholson. Ryan is best know for his own films Gutterballs, Gutterballs 2, Collar, and more.

Other cast members will be announced on the campaign site as contributions hit a certain "goal", unravelling more secrets into the film production.

The film is tentatively scheduled to shoot in November for 21 days in and around Northern Alabama. Projected release date is January 2016.

LeglessCorpse Films had acquired the found footage horror film ROHL FARMS HAUNTING. Described as “Blair With” meets “The Strangers”.

Two childhood friends, 21 years old, who are trying to create a documentary in Wisconsin, struggle to keep their friendship intact after a string of seemingly paranormal events lead to the staggering conclusion that a group of three strangers are behind the activity. Their quest to discover and convict the culprits via evidence captured on camera becomes the new focus on the documentary, resulting in a cinematic endeavor that could prove to be their last. With real locations, real people, and real relationships, this is the realest found footage film you will ever experience.
